TRMF Executive Team Looks To The Future

As TRMF President Randy Hatzenbuher moves into his new fundraising responsibilities for the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library Foundation, Mike Beaudoin and our Executive Team will oversee all areas of our Foundation’s day-to-day operations. Mike’s joined on that team by these dedicated TRMF employees.

Kinley Slauter

Properties and Attractions Director

Kinley joined the TRMF family in 1997 as a seasonal employee and never left. He’s worked in a variety of departments, but the Medora Musical always held his main interest. In his early years with TRMF, Kinley traveled the country with 16 commercial theatrical tours in the winter, before joining our staff year-around. In addition to managing the Burning Hills Amphitheatre, Kinley also oversees the retail, grounds and maintenance, entertainment, and attractions areas for TRMF. Over the years he developed a significant interest in Medora’ s history, which led to him being responsible for our Historic Preservation activities. Kinley and his wife Sarah, also a TRMF manager, and their two daughters live in Medora, and love spending time in Theodore Roosevelt National Park. But they also spend as much time traveling to other national parks as they can, when they can getaway .

In 2006, Kinley was named North Dakota Tourism’s “Behind The Scenes Employee Of The year” at the North Dakota Tourism Conference, and, in 2013, he received the Governor’s Award for Preserving Local History from the State Historical Society of North Dakota.

Clarence Sitter

Chief Financial Officer

Prior to Joining TRMF in 2012 as our Chief Financial Officer, Clarence spent 11 years working in public accounting with Eide Bailly, LLP, providing consulting, valuation, audit, and tax services.

Clarence grew up in the Drayton, ND, area and was a student in the first Harold Schafer Leadership program class at the University of Mary, where he received his bachelor ’s and master’s degrees. He’s active in his community, serving on the boards of the North Dakota CPA Society, the North Dakota 4-H Foundation, and Faith Revealed, and is a CCD instructor and lector in his church. He and his wife Jennifer live in Medora and have five children, much to the delight of the Medora School District.

Justin Fisk

Director of Marketing & Communications

Justin grew up in Minot and graduated from Minot State University with degrees in marketing and e-commerce. His marketing career has included stops at IRET in Minot and KK Bold advertising agency in Bismarck.

Justin joined TRMF in 2013, because of his love for history, adventure, and marketing, he and his wife Natalie and their two sons spend much of their time on the trails of Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

Justin is responsible for all the TRMF marketing and advertising activities, and regular updates on the very busy TRMF website, Medora.com. Justin also has served on the board of directors for the Medora Convention and Visitors Bureau, helping direct all Medora’s marketing activities.

Joslyn Tooz

Development Director

Joslyn grew up in Dickinson and worked in Medora as a seasonal ranger for Theodore Roosevelt National Park during summers of her college years, first at Montana State University and then at Le Cordon Bleu Academy in San Francisco, where she received her degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality.

After working in the hospitality industry for a few years in California, Wyoming, and Montana, Joslyn joined the TRMF staff in 2012 as Group Sales Manager and moved over to the Development Team in 2018. Now she’s working with friends of Medora to raise the funds to develop new projects in Medora, especially our new Point to Point Park.

Joslyn has deep Badlands roots—her great, great uncle was Walt Ray, former Mayor of Medora, and her two great uncles are legendary Medora-area rodeo stars Jim and Tom Tescher. Joslyn and her husband TJ Tooz live in Bismarck and are expecting their first child this winter.

Michele Enderud

Director of Human Resources

A native North Dakotan and longtime Human Resources professional, Michele Enderud, joined our staff this spring as our new HR Director. Michele has been an HR professional since 1995 with experience in Education, Technology and Oil/Gas Industries. She holds a double Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Human Resources from Dickinson State University and a Master ’s in Business Administration from the University of Mary. She is also certified in Labor Arbitration from Kings University. Her “hobby” is teaching Business classes at Dickinson State University and Bismarck State College.

Michele and her husband Ryan Enderud live in Dickinson, and she has two adult sons who live in Bismarck.
