Grand Forks, North Dakota Native Arrives in Medora for the Debut of “The Great American Folk Show with Tom Brosseau”
(Medora, ND) – The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation (TRMF) is excited to announce that the hit folk music performance, The Great American Folk Show with Tom Brosseau, will begin showing in Medora this Sunday, August 27, at 1:30pm MDT in Medora’s Newly remodeled Old Town Hall Theater.
The Great American Folk Show with Tom Brosseau features singer-songwriter Tom Brosseau and special guests, Irish/American musician, Gregory Page and Burning Hills Singer, Misti Koop. It shows every day, August 27 – September 5, at 1:30pm MDT in the Old Town Hall Theater.
Brosseau’s music is strongly influenced by his grandparents and his North Dakota childhood. He says, “I grew up with music in the church, in the school, music at home. I learned a lot of hymnal and fold songs, both traditional and contemporary — and since I was influenced by what my grandparents listened to, in a sense I studied the singers and songwriters of the great American songbook.”
Guests can expect to see these influences in Brosseau’s Shows. With a combination of fun stories, monologues, and great American folk music, The Great American Folk Show is something the entire family can enjoy.
Adult tickets are $15. Guests can get tickets for The Great American Folk Show with Tom Brosseau at Medora.com or at the door of the Old Town Hall Theater.
