The Theodore Roosevelt Nature and History Association invites kids of all ages to bring their favorite furry friend to the final Teddy Bear Picnic of the summer season on Wednesday, August 10 at 1:00 p.m.
Registration is at 12:45 p.m. MDT at the Theodore Roosevelt National Park South Unit Visitor Center; festivities will begin at 1:00 p.m. The picnic is free, though the park’s regular entrance fee will be charged.
Children in attendance will receive a goodie bag with Teddy Bear snacks and will have an opportunity to win great prizes! Kids will also learn how the Teddy Bear got its name, play camping games, and go on a “camping adventure” with Curious George. A very special surprise guest will stop by, too.
“Teddy Bear Picnics sponsored by TRNHA are quickly becoming a tradition for kids and their families,” said Superintendent Valerie Naylor. “They are a great invitation to the outdoors and to enjoying the park.”
