Medora, N.D. – More than 100 antique and classic cars will be displayed June 23 in Medora when the Dakota Western Auto Club cruises into town to host its 35th annual Classic Car Show. This year’s special exhibit car is a 1932 Packard Dietrich convertible, which has been a Pebble Beach first place winner.
The cars will be displayed on the east end of Medora by the Badlands Motel. The show is from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.MDT, with a parade at 4:30 p.m. MDT.
First, second and third place trophies will be awarded for more than 20 categories based upon car and truck year, make and model, as well as oldest car and Pioneer Award.
Prior to the car show on Saturday, there will be activities on Friday, June 22, in the Medora Community Center. A slide show, starting at 7:30 p.m. MDT, will highlight rare cars featured in the Medora Antique Classic Car Show since 1978. This will be followed by a reception and music by the Friday Night Gang.
