Medora, ND- The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation is pleased to announce that this year’s Bully Expedition- Fourth Grader’s day will take place on Tuesday, June 14th, 2011 in Medora, North Dakota. The event offers fourth graders and their families an excellent opportunity to experience Historic Medora and to continue learning about the history of North Dakota outside of the classroom, alongside fellow 4th graders from across the state.
Students will participate in the Amazing Bully Race- a historical scavenger hunt competition, see Bully the play, watch the Flag Day Parade, experience the Medora Musical, and receive a vacation journal, bandana, and Bully Fun Pass. Cost is $5 per student.
In addition, the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation is sponsoring an Essay Contest for all current North Dakota Fourth Graders. The contest winner will receive a $300 college scholarship, a Bully Vacation Package and a TR Teddy Bear, the 2nd place finisher will receive a $200 college scholarship, a $50 Medora Gift Card and a TR Teddy Bear, and the 3rd place finisher will receive a $100 college scholarship and a TR Teddy Bear. All entries must be received by April 1st, 2011. The winners will be recognized on stage at the Medora Musical on June 14th, 2011.
