Dakota Air: The Radio Show, featuring Paulette Carlson
Burning Hills Amphitheatre, 2:30 p.m. MDT
The Medora performance of Dakota Air: The Radio Show is the 10th and final presentation of the show’s wildly successful inaugural season. Dakota Air is an old-fashioned live radio variety show, featuring comedy skits and music along with local history, culture and talent.

57th Annual Bird Walk, Theodore Roosevelt National Park

46th Annual Medora Musical Opening Night & Pitchfork Steak Fondue
Burning Hills Amphitheatre
The “Greatest Show in the West” begins its 46th season, and the nationally acclaimed Pitchfork Steak Fondue also kicks off its first night of the season. Both are held nightly through September 10 with the Fondue offering its unique dining at 6:30 p.m. MDT, followed by the Medora Musical at 8:30 p.m. MDT. Tickets for each can be purchased online at www.medora.com or by calling 1-800-633-6721.

North Dakota’s own Greg Hager performs original music in the Old Western Cowboy flavor.

Paint the Town

Stop in at various businesses throughout Medora to see area artists at work. Winchester Weekend
North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame
A weekend celebration of the western lifestyle of days gone by with fun festivities, including the Antique Gun Road Show. For more information contact the ND Cowboy Hall of Fame at 701-623-2000.

Kids Day
Every Sunday and Wednesday through September 7 is Kids Day in Medora. That means free Medora Musical admission for kids accompanied by their parent or grandparent. After the show, kids can get autographs from the cast members. Earlier in the day at 5 p.m. on the Chuckwagon patio, Playtime on the Patio features the Medora Musical singers in a sing-along time and face painting before and after their performance. Burning Hills Worship Service

Bully Expedition – 4th Graders Day

Fourth graders from all across North Dakota venture to Medora for an educational scavenger hunt, free Medora Musical ticket, and loads of fun.

Flag Day and All Horse Parade
Downtown Medora, 5 p.m. MDT

Seniors Day
Every Tuesday and Thursday through September 8 is Seniors Day. All seniors, age 55 and better, receive a 15% discount on their ticket to the Medora Musical and the Pitchfork Steak Fondue, as well as lodging at the Badlands Motel, Rough Riders Hotel, and The Bunkhouse.
