A Gathering of TRs

It’s going to be a Bully good time in Medora this weekend!

This weekend, July 14 – 16, marks the 4th Annual Gathering of TRs sponsored by the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation.

A troupe of TRs will take the city by storm this weekend as Theodore Roosevelt Re-enactors from around the nation pour into Medora for this much anticipated annual convention.

Once here, the re-enactors will take this unique opportunity to share of their experiences portraying the legendary Theodore Roosevelt around the country, and take some time to learn more about TR’s life in the Badlands.

This year’s Gathering of TRs is sure to be extra special because in addition to Theodore Roosevelt re-enactors, Medora will also play host to a multitude of characters from Teddy’s life.

Guests will have the chance to see not only TR, but also his wife Edith, his daughters Alice and Ethel, his son Quentin, and his good friend and fellow conservationist “D’ing” Darling.

This convention will prompt additional free and ticketed events through this weekend so that guests have a chance to interact and learn as much as possible from the arriving TRs.

Additionally, many of the usual shows that guests love, like A TR Salute to Medora, will feature special guests from among our visiting re-enactors.
